A winning New York Lottery ticket worth $13.9 million was purchased in Hicksville, the lottery announced in a news release Thursday. The ticket was purchased at Lovely Cards and Gifts on South Oyster Bay Road, the release said. No one was available to speak at the store Thursday morning.
