NJ Transit, New Jersey Transit Police and the NTSB are investigating what caused two trains to collide at the Bay Street station in Montclair.

Eight people were hospitalized after a tractor trailer rear-ended a New Jersey Transit bus Tuesday afternoon in Essex County, officials said. The bus was on its way to the Jersey Gardens Mall when it was hit by a tractor trailer at the intersection of Marlin Street and Port Street in Newark around 3 p.m., officials said.
